Students have the opportunity to undergo research and production practice in international economic organizations based in Geneva, in trade missions of the Russian Federation abroad, as well as in the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. Master's students have a priority opportunity to participate in international educational programs implemented by member organizations of the UNCTAD Virtual Institute, as well as to take part in the scientific work of the Department of World Economy of St. Petersburg State University.
Graduates of the program have an excellent opportunity to get a job in both government and commercial organizations, and occupy leading positions in large companies, both Russian and foreign. A number of graduates work in international economic organizations.
Graduates perform analytical and expert work, deal with the formation of trade policy, tax planning, and the development of external relations of enterprises.
