Programme specification

After graduating the programme the qualification “economist” is awarded.
The studying process is carried out by the teachers of the Economic, Juridical, Philological, Philosophical, Sociological, Mathematic-Mechanical, Physical faculties as well as the Faculty of International Relations.
Programme duration is 5 years. During the first three years basic education is given. During the fourth and fifth year specialization courses are read along with the basic disciplines.
Teaching is carried out in Russian.
During the educational process modern techniques of teaching are used. Students are provided with necessary educational and methodical materials.
Students pass an internal practice in various departments of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, St. Petersburg Administration, commercial structures and public organizations.
Students get access to the extensive library fund of St. Petersburg State University, an opportunity of the high-speed access to the Internet, free access to the information on commercial sites.
