The Centre for Trade Policy and Law (CTPL) is a leader in the field of executive training in trade policy. CTPL was jointly established by Carleton University and the University of Ottawa.
The mission of CTPL is to promote greater public understanding of international trade issues. The Centre provides consultancy services for the governments of various countries; in particular, CTPL assists in Russian negotiations on the WTO accession. The Centre fosters independent researches and delivers educational programmes.
