“The “International Trading System” programme is certainly of current importance and meets today’s problems facing the Faculty of Economics, the business society and the state. The emerging of this programme became an absolute must long time ago. The highest evaluation deserves the fact that this programme has appeared within the precincts of St. Petersburg State University.

As the representative of the first graduation of the programme I can tell that the knowledge gained by me here will certainly be useful in my future carrier. Wide scope of problems of world trade mediates understanding of all the mechanisms of modern macroeconomic.

Certainly, not all is ideal. But to be the first is always difficult and at the same time honourable. I am sure that the students in the following years will go in for internships and international conferences more often, that they will take part in current discussions concerning for example the Russian Federation WTO accession more actively.

However already now it is possible to tell: the programme took its place. High competition and prestigiousness of studying here confirm this. And with the accession of the Russian Federation into the WTO the recognition and authority of the programme only will grow.
