Conference 'Evolution of International Trading System: Prospects and Challenges'
On October, 11-12, 2012, the Faculty of Economics, St. Petersburg State University, holds the International Conference “Evolution of International Trading System: Prospects and Challenges”.
In the modern globalized world, trade plays an increasingly important role for state interactions. In the 21st century, international trading system faces new challenges such as slowdown of the global economy, murky protectionism in trade policy and development of regional integration, difficulty of global governance and complexity of the WTO negotiations. These and many other questions on contemporary trends in international trade require more detailed study and provoke discussions among experts and young researchers. The conference aims at exploring the following issues:
