Academic Staff

The academic staff of the Department of World Economy is represented by highly qualified experts in their field in the opinion of students and graduates as well as scientific society. It is also confirmed by numerous publications: monographs, books and articles issued in leading international scientific magazines. The active cooperation of our lecturers with outstanding Russian and foreign research centres in the form of jointly delivered educational programmes, scientific projects and conferences, as well as an increased demand for our lecturing overseas has proved the highest quality of the staff.

  The academic staff of the Department consists of 24 lecturers. Among them are 5 Professors, 12 Associate Professors, 5 Senior Lecturers, and 2 Assistants. 23 lecturers have got academic degrees: 4 Doctors of Economic Sciences, 1 Doctor of Science in History, 17 Candidates of Economic Sciences, and 1 Candidate of Technical Sciences. The Head of the Department is the Honoured Worker of the Higher School of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Sergey Sutyrin.
