Wheat is one of the most important food crops, it is produced in 120 countries and accounts for about 19 percent of the world’s calorie supplies. The global wheat situation and wheat policies of major actors are central to the food security and dietary preferences of many countries. This report deals with the current situation with international trade in wheat.
