The professors of the World Economy Department are highly qualified specialists as per the students, graduates and the scientific community. This is confirmed by numerous publications: monographs, textbooks and articles published by leading international scientific journals, and the active cooperation with well-known Russian and foreign research centers in the form of joint educational programs, research projects, conferences, and the increasing demand for their lectures abroad.
There are 18 Professors at the Department of World Economy, among them 5 professors, 12 associate professors, 1 senior lecturer, 1 assistant professor. All of them have scientific degrees: 4 doctors of economic sciences, 1 doctor of historical sciences, 12 Ph.D. in Economics (candidates of economic sciences), 1 Ph.D. in Law. The chair of the Department since its establishment is the Honored Worker of the High School of Russian Federation, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Sutyrin Sergey Feliksovich.
